We are looking to enhancing the richness of Tennessee's heritage

The African Diaspora Coalition of Tennessee are submitting this proposal to highlight immediate challenges facing their communities across Tennessee. On June 20, 2023 the Afro-Caribbean communities in Tennessee met with the Office of the Senior Advisor to the Governor of Tennessee in collaboration with the Equal Educational Opportunity Group (EEOG) to shed light on “Immigrants’ to Success in Tennessee.”

We envision a Tennessee where education is accessible to all, youth incarceration rates are significantly reduced, and economic opportunities are abundant for every individual. Our cultural initiatives will celebrate diversity and attract tourism, showcasing the contributions of all communities. By advocating for social justice, we aim to create an inclusive society where every voice is heard, and every person has the opportunity to thrive.

The African Diaspora Coalition of Tennessee is dedicated to fostering a vibrant community by promoting education, advocating for social justice, and addressing youth incarceration. We empower individuals through economic development initiatives and cultural awareness, enhancing the richness of Tennessee's heritage and promoting tourism. Our commitment extends beyond the African diaspora, as we strive to uplift all marginalized communities in need.
